Prague Convention Bureau Attended Roadshow in USA
Prague, 17th July 2014 – Prague Convention Bureau and CzechTourism concluded their first joint MICE & Leisure Roadshow in Western USA. From July 7 to July 14 they held 4 networking culinary events and workshops for meeting, incentive and event planners, tour operators and travel agents in Los Angeles, Orange County, Scottsdale and San Francisco, and ASTA Arizona Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mobile Information Centre to assist and also attract visitors to Prague.
Prague City Tourism (PCT) has transformed one of its vehicles into a mobile Information Centre. It can be seen for the first time at the international tourism trade fair Holiday World 2014, which begins 20th February at the Holešovice Exhibition Centre.

Seven out of eleven Czech hotels, which won prizes in Holidaycheck Award 2014, are from Prague. The best hotels were selected out of 400 thousand hotels worldwide.

Numbers of Tourists in Prague on Rise
Number of tourists who came to the Czech city in 2013 increased by 2% which was confirmed by the Czech Statistical Office. In total, 5,502,591 people visited Prague last year. The amount of both foreign and Czech tourists increased.

Tourism Record Broken
A record number of tourists visited Prague between Christmas and Epiphany. According to the data of the Prague Information Service (Prague City Tourism – PIS, PCT), there were 120 thousand of them. Russians, Germans, Italians and the British were the most numerous.
