A “Strollering” race is going to take place across the whole country on Sunday 7th April 2013 at 3 p.m. It is dedicated to all mums and dads who are going to compete at more than 25 places of the Czech Republic to show how fast they can push their prams. The competition is supported by the Mayor of Prague.

An exhibition of film costumes is currently taking place in Chodov Shopping Centre and will last until 14th April. It was prepared by the curator and author of film exhibitions, Jana Sommerová.

Anyone who is a “Praguer” at heart simply mustn’t miss the photographic exhibition in Prague City Museum - Zdenko Feyfar – Unknown and Well-known. The exhibition runs from 13th March to 25th August, and offers unique views of Prague and much more.

The 20th edition of the Febiofest Film Festival welcomes distinguished guests. It is not only Geraldine Chaplin, heralded in advance, but also for instance Giancarlo Giannini or Richard Lester, the author of Help, who will receive the Kristián Award for contribution to the world’s cinematography.

Zakázanka Walk, which had been closed for decades, reopens to the public. Visitors can look forward to impressive views, new expositions and to an uphill race competition of couples. The opening Ceremony will be held on 16th March 2013.

Petra Janů and actors Andrea Kerestešová and Hana Vagnerová have ceremonially opened the traditional Orchid Exhibition in the Botanical Garden in Troja, Prague.

The upcoming horse-racing season starts on Sunday 7th April in Chuchle and the main event of the opening programme is the traditional sprint race, the 88th Gomba Handicap.
