The exhibition has been organized by the New Town of Prague Association and supported by Prague 1 City District and Prague City Hall. This year’s main theme is VIEW OF THE LIFE IN THE CITY CENTRE THROUGH THE EYES OF A YOUNG PERSON. The exhibition presents winning photographs by the FAMU students, who took part in the 3rd year of the competition Two Faces of Prague.
The sets of large photographs will be exhibited until 30th September. The works of the following authors are presented: Jan Douša, Pavlína Kahánková, Klára Čvančarová, Lenka Komínková, Veronika Klepáčová, Silvie Kořenková, Anna Pleslová, Adéla Vosičková.
Michal Malátný, the frontman of the band Chinaski and one of the patrons of the projects said about the photographs: “All of them have their own atmosphere and their stories are readable for me.”
The opening of the exhibition will take place on 8th September at 4 p.m. in Wenceslas Square. The jury of the competition, the competition’s patrons Michal Malátný and Marek Vašut and the representatives of social, cultural and political life will be present. The members of the jury are representatives of Prague 1 City District, the guarantor of the project doc. Jaroslav Bárta, photographers and professors from the FAMU and the representatives of the New Town of Prague Association.
The expert jury chose the following winners:
- 1st place Jan Douša - Genius Loci
- 2nd place Klára Čvančarová - Moment of Silence
- 3rd place Adéla Vosičková – In Action
- the Award of the Organizer - Klára Čvančarová - Moment of Silence

Wenceslas Square with the dominant statue of St. Wenceslas and the backdrop of the National Theatre is without any question the heart of Prague. The majority of significant historic events of our republic are linked to the place.
