Come and Celebrate Fathers’ Day at Tátafest!
On Sunday 17th June from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. a Fathers‘ Day celebration Tátafest 2012 will take place in Parukářka Park, Prague. The event, organized by the League of Open Men and the Union of Centres for Families and Communities, wants to emphasise the importance of active fatherhood and create a playful space for dads, their children, families and friends. The programme includes concerts, workshops, a raffle with valuable prizes, games, competitions, refreshment stalls and a tea room.

Cinebus is Once Again Entertaining Prague
It is now for the fifth season that Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) has produced the summer film festival Cinebus. The Cinebus is playing from 10th June to 1st September. This year the mobile cinema will visit 23 locations in Prague and surrounding areas.

Przewalski Horses From Prague Have a Foal
The mare Cassovia, a Przewalski horse from Prague Zoo which was transported last year to the Mongolian reservation of Khomiin Tal, gave birth to a female foal. The birth went smoothly.

Small Breweries Offer a Big Experience
Small breweries with their own restaurants offer a great beer-drinking experience in Prague. These small breweries offer quite different beer than the standard light lager. It’s a real diversion from the general stereotype. There are around twenty such breweries to be found in and around Prague, no-one has actually counted them precisely.
