This year the number of exhibitors is 30% higher, passing the magic number of 100. Participating companies will be from both the Czech Republic and abroad.

Expanded exhibition

The main aim of the exhibition organisers is to support the development of this field in the Czech Republic. “The growing interest from exhibitors led us to expand the exhibition space at Rašín embankment to include Smíchov beach opposite. The two sides will be connected by a ferry service, so visitors are sure to enjoy the river and all that goes with it.

Try out a boat

Over an area of more than 13000 m2 between Železniční and Palackého bridges the latest models of boats will be on display, from small pleasure boats to ocean-going yachts and luxury motor-cruisers. Visitors will have the chance to try out many of these.

“Visitors can look forward to a rich accompanying programme on the water and on the banks – competitions, exhibitions, presentations, autograph signings and other attractions,” said Ing. Vladimír Toman, Director of the exhibition and Vice-President of APL.

Foreign exhibitors for the first time

“Prague would like to be right up there with the likes of Genoa, which holds the biggest annual European exhibition of boats on the water, or Barcelona, Cannes, Hamburg or other cities of the world. For the first time in the short history of the exhibition foreign companies will be taking part, and I’m very happy that Prague has such an exhibition,” said Ondřej Pecha, Chairman of Prague Council’s Committee for Culture, Heritage, Exhibitions and Tourism.
