According to Ivana Havlíková of the National Museum the website provides information not only about participating institutions and their buildings, but also about displays, exhibitions and accompanying programmes which museums and galleries are preparing for this year’s event.
For kids
There will be guided tours, quizzes, creative workshops, concerts, film screenings and many other things. A programme of events and activities suitable for younger visitors can be found in the special section For Kids.
Up to 40 institutions in Prague
A record number of 39 museums, galleries and other cultural institutions have joined the event this year. The programme is rich and varied. Just like last year, anyone interested can create their own programme for Prague Museum Night using the special applications My Museum and My Night. You can also browse the website by phone. A special mobile-phone version of the website can be accessed after entering a so-called QR code, which is available on printed publicity material.
