In search of young talents
Šnek Theatre will stage the performance Jižák, the City of Dreams, which sheds light on life in this particular Prague housing estate. The authors found young people, actors, dancers, singers, musicians, beat boxers, hip hopers and street dancers for their original project. The show will premiere on 23rd May at the Street for Art.
Public space to be used in creative way
Since its inception, the festival has been held in a public space. This year the organisers came up with an original solution to adjust the platform by the Opatov station. The opening evening will feature rapper Bonus, who will introduce his new music project Dark Powers. Visitors can look forward to various workshops, take a ride on a retro bus or visit the opening of the international photographic project People in Places. For movie lovers there is the mini film festival 3x housing estate. All those that are interested can partake on the commented tour that focuses on artistic rarities and oddities. The tour leads from the metro station to the station Opatov.
