Development of the complex, which is located in close proximity to the metro station Strasnicka, was initiated by the city district Prague 10. “The multipurpose complex Gutovka will be used not only by Prague 10 residents, but thanks to excellent connections with public transport it also offers sport and free time activities to other Praguers. The centre is located in an area which used to be the playground of Gutova Primary School; it was only partially used and considerably neglected. Gradual redevelopment started in 2001 and today we can present to the public a beautiful and modern complex. We will continue to provide better conditions and services; in the coming years we would like to develop more tennis courts, a swimming pool and other attractions for lovers of outdoor sports,” says Vladislav Lipovsky, Mayor of Prague 10.
