Teatro NoD is introducing three distinctive artists: Olga Gutierrez, Alonso Alarcon and Zuadd Atala and their three projects, they will be talking about the situation in Mexican society and politics. Shows in Teatre NoD will show the public how Mexicans see the problems of their country. Mainly Olga Gutierrez is trying to stop anxiety about the future through watching what is happening now in her dance performance with citizen-activist allusion We Are Here, on program 6th June.

Zuadd Atala is saving her identity from the grave of massive self discrimination in her dance performance If I Will Only Live Once, I Want to be Blond which will have its world premiere on June 8th in Teatre NoD. Artist Alonso Alarcon is deriving strength from cultural heritage in a name of facing current individual problems in his dance performance accompanied by live music Firefly Glass which will have its world premiere on June 7th in Teatre NoD.
Culture and gastronomic treats
In addition to these cultural treats will also be gastronomic delights which will the visitors of Botana Mexicana can taste after each show together with a dose of art videos showing in Teatre NoD. “We are cooperating with festival Botana Mexicana not only because we got interested in the activist level of the presented projects. Mexico is represented as a dynamic country full of creative people who are interested in the current political situation and things around them while they are enjoying life and all it has to offer,” explains script editor Adam Halaš.
Tickets for shows to festival Botana Mexicana in Teatre NoD are from 200 CZK to 150 CZK for students and are on sale via Ticketportal or can be purchased using the SMS Ticket service.
