The entire Slav Epic is now on display, for a period of at least two years, in the exhibition hall of Veletržní Palác. This is the site where the Epic was first displayed in 1928.

Jakub Schikaneder’s melancholic paintings of Prague can probably be seen in just about every publication on the Capital City. The current exhibition, however, also features many works which fall into the context of European art of the late 19th century.

Galerie U Betlémské kaple (Bethlehem Church Gallery) presents an exhibition of 64 paintings by Zdeněk Burian. The exhibition will offer works for sale, and comprises of paintings from private collections, some of which were previously exhibited in a Burian retrospective in 2005.

An exhibition that will change your life. This is how the promoters present the controversial exhibition entitled The Human Body Exhibition which is held in Křižík Pavilion at Prague Exhibition Grounds until 10th June. Both astonishment and negative emotions are raised by the fact that the exhibition displays real human bodies. Thanks to a special method of conservation called plastination, visitors can view all body organs, bones and muscles, as well as other parts of the body in the minute detail.

A substantial part of the Vamberk Lace Museum collection has temporarily moved to the Charles Bridge Museum in Prague. There you will find several hundred exhibits, from jewellery to paintings. There is even a fashion show planned for 7th March.
