Langhans Gallery, an independent exhibition space for Czech photographers is located in the same building where Jan Langhans established his studio 130 years ago. Since that time photography has never disappeared from this house and today, thanks to the Langhans Praha exhibition, we have the opportunity to take a look at the history of the studio where Czech and foreign celebrities were photographed.

Müller Villa, the world renowned work of important avant-garde architect Adolf Loos in Střešovice, is mainly visited by foreign tourists who often come to Prague specifically to admire Loos’ architecture.

Hopefully soon the area in front of the National Museum will be graced by an exhibition banner in form of a small Říp Hill, which invites visitors to an exhibition that covers an unusually broad theme. Visitors will be able to enjoy it until next July.

Petr Nikl continues his successful project Orbis pictus. The exhibition will fill the space of Mánes Gallery for three months, starting on 4th November.

The photo exhibition entitled Film Magician Karel Zeman will be open from 1st December 2009 to 4th January 2010 in Prague‘s Hybernia Theatre

Over the next six months the public will be able to feast their senses at an exhibition showcasing an extensive and highly valuable collection of coins and medals that were made from precious metals by artists who lived through what was then Czechoslovakia and later on the Czech and Slovakian Republics.

The City of Prague will take part in Expo 2010 Shanghai China with an unusually large pavilion covering an area of 350m² located in a prestigious place.

Every cloud has a silver lining, as is confirmed by the newly opened exhibition in Schwarzenberg Palace, Hradčany.

The cloisters of Prague Carolinum present two exhibitions related in their own way to the 20th anniversary of the events of 1989. Many of the photographs on display will be seen by the public for the first time.
