Three of the most striking sirens out of the Eastern European music scene, Lenka Dusilová (Czech Republic), Szidi Tobias (Slovakia) a Kayah (Poland) will unleash their latest songs from the pontoon on the Vltava River, between Charles Bridge and Legií Bridge. Their original musical pieces were re-arranged by one of the finest Balkan composers Dejan Pejović, who will also accompany them with his Serbian orchestra Black and White World.
We can look forward to a unique music experiment that offers a great music experience entwining many music styles and cultural influences. The concert will culminate by a firework display above the river with the great backdrop of Prague Castle silhouetted on the sky line. The concert is for the general public and is free of charge.
According to the media and Prague’s residents, this festival counts amongst the most attractive summer events in Prague. The 1st year (summer 2010) of the festival belonged to famous film composer Goran Bregović and his Wedding and Funeral Orchestra with Czech special guest Karel Gott. The 2nd year (summer 2011) starred world famous director Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra and Czech singer Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere.

Lenka Dusilová (Czech Republic)
This fearless female singer holds several Anděl music awards. Lenka Dusilová is a unique phenomenon of the Czech music scene, a rock and pop diva that brings personal expression to her music and freely combines a frisson of musical excitement from various music styles.
Lenka Dusilová started her music career when she was 10 years old by performing a poem by Czech poet Jiří Wolker that she herself set to music. Between 1991 and 1995 she was the lead singer of Sluníčko rock band. Between 1994 and 1997 she cooperated with David Koller’s band Lucie. In 2007 she toured USA and participated on folk music records by Čechomor. Her original musical expression is inspired by everyday life. Lenka Dusilová’s most current album Baromantika brought her another step towards immortality. She is noted for artistic “restlessness”, her unquenchable desire to keep changing the forms of her expression and to open doors to new styles with each album.
Her great talent, as well choosing the best artists for each project, was combined with a big piece of luck to make her into one of the leading singers of current music scene.

Kayah(Polsko)
The vocalist and composer Kayah, Poland’s leading rock star, achieved her brilliance in part by boldly experimenting in the ethers of a wide spectrum of music; her own compositions are perfect for the strident quality of her great voice into her own compositions. She courageously twists the plastic qualities of jazz, soul and pop into new musical organisms that entice people’s attention. Until now her biggest artistic achievement is the album she recorded with the famous film music composer Goran Bregović Kayah & Bregovic (1999) – more than fifty thousand were sold in the course of four days.
Numerous awards, astronomical numbers of CDs sold and highly impressive list of Polish musicians that she co-operated with has opened the gates to many other countries where she is now in great demand.
Her latest album Yaka ya Kayah can serve as a proof of her versatility, invention and eclectic range of skills. It brings a mix of blues, jazz, tango, folk, pop, exotic songs, instrumental tribute to Bond’s films and dance music .

Szidi Tobias (Slovensko)
Szidi Tobias is Slovakian singer and actress with a captivating voice and depth of expression. Her husky velvet voice exudes pathos to the air with songs dripping in melancholic honey, or sparkling gems of joy graced with her precious craziness. Her latest album “”Ať se dobré děje” (Let good things happen) introduces her brand new chanson songs.
“I’ll sing to you about what happened to me…,” Szidi Tobias could use these words to describe her music. Those who listen carefully will discover stories full of colours describing everyday as well as magical days, snapshots of friends as well as casual passer-by and shreds of memories. Szidi Tobias is currently a member of Bratislava ensemble Astorek Korzo ‘90 Theatre and holds many awards for actors.

Dejan Pejovic’s Black And White World (Serbia)
Dejan Pejović is contemporary modern Balkan composer and producer. He became famous mainly for his music composed for the film called Guca that won him a Felix European Film Academy nomination. He is also noted for his cooperation with the famous singer Cindi Lauper, as he is for the music for Czech movie Transformations. His music is strongly influenced by Balkan music, world music, rock, jazz and modern electronic music.
In the course of his rich career, he traversed various music genres and cooperated with various artists, be it the highly renown Balkan ethno musicians, Belgrade philharmonic orchestra or the world pop star Cindi Lauper for the movie “Here and There“.
He enchanted the audience by his spontaneous energy. His inborn sense for rhythms and harmony are making his concerts into one of the most attractive and fascinating shows. In Prague, he will perform for the first time at the third year of Prague – Summer Night Dream, on 8th September 2012.
