Franciscan Garden
Situated in the very heart of Prague, between Wenceslas and Jungmann Square, is hidden one of the most exquisite public gardens, which offers visitors a delightful space to sit on a bench, read a book or play with their kids.
The garden was re-opened to the public in 1992, and since then it has been much used by many Praguers as well as visitors to the city.
The place offers many benches sheltered by metal arches that are laden with roses in summer. Other facilities include a playground with climbing frames and swings, which are separated from the rest of the garden by the wall. The place is open all-year-round; closing hours vary with the season of the year, in summer 10 p.m., in winter 7 p.m. More...
