On Wednesday 20th June, you can not only see top competitors but also promising young vaulters. They will fight for the title in B group, which will take place at the beginning of the whole event, starting at 3 p.m. When the B group has finished, it will be succeeded by the main competition. Let’s hope to see some good results, which is something that usually happens at this event. The competition’s record is held by Igor Potapovič from Kazachstan (585 cm), from 1996. The women’s record is held by Martina Strutz from Germany (471 cm).

This year’s 21th edition of the international athletic event in pole vault is held right in Wenceslas Square. Prague’s Pole Vault is a well-known event in the world of pole vaulting and the world’s top athletes always come to participate.
