It is the first year
“One year ago, during a night run, I and a friend of mine had the idea to organize a run with headlamps for our friends. We thought it would be funny to look like fireflies. That is why by organizing this event, we will support the Czech Radio Endowment Fund - Světluška collection, which helps blind people,” said Jakub Hereš, organizer of the run.
They ran the half-marathon
This year for the first time, Světluška’s relay team consisting of both sighted and blind runners took part in the Prague half-marathon and came in the unbelievable 32nd place! ”Now we are looking forward to the run in the dark. I hope that the turnout will be big and that together with the friends of Světluška and the blind runners, we will light up the whole of Stromovka,” said Martina Kaderková, Director of the Czech Radio Endowment Fund.
