This weekend (25th –27th May) Štvanice Island hosts the SWATCH FIVB WORLD TOUR 2012 tournament. The total number of 32 teams will make their appearance, including top teams, which will also compete at the Olympics in London.
The main competition, which started on Thursday, presents 20 of the best ranked teams and two teams with a wild card. Two other teams are home teams, with a so called host card.
Another eight teams come from the qualification, which ended on Wednesday 23rd May. Unfortunately, our contestants David Kufa and Ondřejem Přidalem did not qualify. In spite of that, there will be three Czech pairs in the main competition: Kubala – Beneš, Tichý – Dumek a Hadrava – R. Kufa.

All matches take place at Štvanice Tennis Area. There are three outside courts and a so called central court.
From metro line C – Vltavská metro station and then on foot or from Florenc metro station – lines B and C – and then on foot. Or from tram stops Florec, Těšnov or Vltavská.
