SHEN YUN 2014: A performance that has Enchanted Millions Returns to the Czech Republic
As part of a world tour, the New York ensemble Shen Yun Performing Arts is returning to the Czech Republic this year, for the sixth time, to present audiences in Prague and Brno with the most beautiful tales from Chinese culture. Through amazing classical Chinese dance and music the Shen Yun ensemble brings to life 5000 years of Chinese civilization.

Judas in the Castle – in Aid of Charity
A charity performance of the passion play “Jidáši, kam jdeš?” (Where are you going Judas?) is now an essential feature in the Easter cultural programme of Prague Castle. The open air performance gives a unique view of the traditional bible story of Jesus of Nazareth without the religious dogma.

Have Fun at Karlín Stage
The biggest Prague presentation of amateur dramatic groups, “Karlínské jeviště” (Karlín Stage) takes place from 24th – 26th January 2014 in Karlínské Spektrum – Children and Young People’s Centre, Prague, which is in Karlínské náměstí, behind the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius.

Bruncvík Story in Puppet Show at New Town Hall
On 23rd January at 6 p.m. puppets will be coming to life in Bruncvík and Lion performance at the New Town Hall. A story about heroism and love by Alois Jirásek will also be on the next day 24th January at 9.30 a.m. and in February and March (27th February, 13th - 14th March, at 6 p.m.).
