The most significant Czech theatre is the National Theatre which has three stages in different locations– the old building at Národní třída, the Estates Theatre (Stavovské Theatre) on Ovocný trh and the Kolowrat Theatre. Apart from a glittering brocade of drama, it also offers the more ephemeral delights of opera and ballet. The State Opera is another significant building for all opera lovers.
