Let´s Dance Prague International Festival will open on 28th July in the Dance Centre, Wenceslas Square 36, with photographic exhibition by Marcela Honsová entitled Faces of the Orient. The exhibition will be open to the public on all four days of the festival. It will also include ten amateur photographs selected from an internet photo competition – another of this year’s innovations.
Workshops by world famous dancers
As usual, Let’s Dance Prague International Festival also features workshops by foreign dance stars, whose number is growing by the year. For the very first time, the following dancers will visit Prague: Nour (Egypt/Russia), Yasser al Swery (Syria), Wael Mansour (Egypt/Italy) and Maurice Yeka (Congo). Also Sunny Singh will bring a unique programme called Bollywood Extravaganza all the way from India and will thus broaden the range of dance styles taught by foreign instructors. You can spend the four days dancing from dawn to dusk with the advantageous Festival Card!
Dance from an early age
This year‘s Let’s Dance Prague International Festival focuses on the whole family and the youngest will not be forgotten. Of the four festival days, Sunday 31st July is dedicated to children, when they will be able to choose from three styles at the Dance Centre in Wenceslas Square 36.
Families can also spend Saturday afternoon in the beautiful garden of Slovanský Dům and watch various dance shows on the Open Dance Scene. The festival will come to an end with a spectacular Zumba Party in Wenceslas Square 36, which is the last of this year’s novelties and the highlight of the whole festival.
