The service “I know how I drive” is an internet application enabling drivers to find out what driving offences they have committed in the area of Prague and which sanctions (points) they might be given.

Who is the service for?

  • The service “I know how I drive” can be used by owners of the opencard, who register with the internet portal www.praha.eu.
  • At present, the service is only available to individuals who are stated as the keeper of the vehicle in its registration certificate, so called „ small logbook.
  • The service is not yet available to legal entities, traders, employees using company vehicles, etc.

What will I learn about my driving?

The information shown via the above mentioned service relate to driving offences committed exclusively in the area of the City of Prague which are brought into the administrative procedure by Prague Municipal Police. These include e.g. speeding, illegal parking, etc.

What more will I learn?

  • The number of penalty points on your drivers‘ card
  • Driving offences settled on the spot
  • Driving offences where the registration plate of the vehicle has not been identified
  • Driving offences committed outside the area of Prague
  • Driving offences committed before the commencement of the administrative procedure, which have been registered and handed over to the administrative procedure of the Police of the CR

How can I start using the service?

  • In case you do not own an opencard, you need to obtain one at the contact place. For more information: www.opencard.cz.
  • If you already possess an opencard, all you need to do is to register at the contact place in Prague City Hall at counter n. 58.
  • Office hours of both places are Monday to Thursday from 9 AM. to 6 PM. and on Friday from 9 AM. to 12.00
