Kamil Lhoták (1912-1990) was a painter of balloons, modern technique, peripheries, sport and also an illustrator of more than 400 books for children and adults. He was inspired by his memories of childhood, old posters or magazines. He was a member of the Group 42, which members focused on everyday life in a city or life on the periphery.

The exhibition contains 200 pictures from state and private collections. Some of the art works will be put on the display for the first time.
