Prague City Plan came into existence in 1999. It is updated every year and it is defined for the period up to the year 2010. The City Plan not only determines where and what will be built in the capital but it also states where a building restriction applies, or which location is reserved for future constructions of public interest. The producer of the City of Prague’s planning documentation and data is the Department of City Planning of the Municipality of Prague.
