Both competitors were training almost daily with huge commitment in SIMPatická kavárna in Lesser Town. Coach and barmaid in one Sára Marková, was helping Mikuláš with the run up for the competition: “At the end, after making a hard decision, Mikuláš has decided to make a cocktail, which is one of the most complicated things to make. We have decided to improve the recipe itself by Mikuláš’s secret ingredient.”
Mikuláš Tučný won by making non alcoholic cocktail named Green eyes. He was the only one in this discipline who has prepared a cocktail with a help of a shaker, his barman show has entertained other contestants and it definitly captivated the jury. With a smile Mikuláš has commented on the show: “I would like to compete again next year and so be able to defend my victory.”
Karel Pajma drew with coffee into milk foam a picture with title “Floating happiness to you.” Right at the beginning of his work Karel has stressed to the jury, that he chose this motif based on a nautical hobby of SIMP director Ing. Libuše Kaprálová. After his victory announcement he stated with tears in his eyes, “I only wanted to join in the competition but I have never thought I could win.” Míša Havlásková, his coach – cafe owner added with a proud smile:” Karel has trained long hours and it has paid back. Our clients proved that they can do a professional job even with handicap.”
