On Saturday 7th May at 10:00 AM in Vyšehrad will be the opening of the third year of the exhibition “Má vlast”. At the opening Smetana’s symphonic poem Vyšehrad from the cycle My Country will be played. After welcoming ceremonies the representative of South Moravian region, which is organising this event, will hand over the stone heart, attribute of “Má Vlast” exhibition to a region which will become partner for next year.
Inspiration found in our neighbours
Towns, villages, local groups, micro regions and others at the exhibition will introduce to a wide public how they have meaningfully improved their environment or how they cleared out damage from previous years. The exhibition is also a meeting place, a place of making new contacts and an opportunity to gain new ideas and priceless experiences. Visitors can also find and inspiration such as where to go on a day trip or how to spend a holiday. Part of the opening will without a doubt be the tasting of specialties from South Moravia and the whole day will be accompanied by a vibrant entertainment program.
Last year even Charles University participated
Naturally the exhibition panels last year present also Prague. Its work as well presented in the Botanical Gardens, Villa Richter, Archaeology institute, Jewish museum, Charles University – Institute of language and scientific preparation, Prague 5 and Prague 11. Organiser of event AEF CZ – Souzneni (Harmony) is also a guardian of yearly competition for title called The Most Beautiful Train Station in the Czech Republic. The panel exhibition in Vyšehrad will go on till 31st May 2011 and after that it will travel around to all the different corners of our country.
