As confirmed the spokesperson for Pražské služby, Miroslava Egerová, exceptional waste collection will be carried out in highly populated places (housing estates). On the same day, a regular night collection in Prague 1 will take place, too.
Even at Christmas, collection trucks will not come to a halt. They will follow their regular operation from the 25th of December. On Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, collections will take place following Wednesday programmes, only in Prague 1, the night collection will be moved to the afternoon between 1 pm. and 7pm. Since mid-December, including the last day of December, there has been and will be exceptional collections of glass.

Christmas tree collections until February

Christmas trees can be placed beside containers from 25th December. They will be regularly collected until the end of February. The trees, however, must not be put into the containers or dust bins. They also should not be placed besides sorted waste containers.
