Medical Rescue Service (ZZS HMP)
A necessary component of healthcare in Prague is Medical Rescue Service of the Capital of Prague that carries on the work of regional centre for Prague and is a part of an integrated rescue system. The conception of ZZS HMP is based on the need to secure a functionally interlinked system providing pre-hospital urgent care to the affected on the spot in a life or health threatening situation, during the transport of the affected to a medical facility until his/her placement in a relevant medical facility. ZZS HMP is an institution receiving contributions from the state budget - of the capital of Prague.
Sobering-up station
Sobering-up station is nowadays run in the premises of Teaching Hospital Bulovka. The capital of Prague takes a financial interest in running that service for citizens intoxicated with alcohol.
