One of the cars of Prague’s traffic police is equipped with a device which might soon become an integral device in 1,700 police cars.

Many Praguers still have memories of the fire station that used to be on the Vltava River between Palacký Bridge and Jirásek Bridges. The boat HL 1 was anchored next to the pontoon and supplied fire brigades with water pumped from the river in fire emergencies.

Starting from March, Prague police officers will be leaving notices behind windshield wipers to inform drivers whether they have parked correctly. This new form of communication will also help to check if the police officers are conducting their duties and are patrolling their designated areas properly.
