“By dialling this unified European Emergency Number, people in distress can get help from rescue workers in all states that are members of the European Union. In 2009, representatives of the European Commission, European Parliament and the Council of the EU signed a declaration in which they officially set 11th February as an important day - the European 112 Day,” said the spokesperson for Prague Fire Brigade, Pavlína Adamcová. The open day is for both children and adults. Each station has its own specialization and visitors can get acquainted with their technical equipment. Both old and the most modern stations, such as the ones in Jinonice and Radotín, will be open.
