This year’s Night of Open Churches will take place not only in Prague, but also in Pilsen, Votice, Merklín and Přeštice. Those who are interested will have the opportunity to visit concerts, film projections, ecumenical service, students service, church tea room and various exhibitions. Programme has been prepared by ten parishes and churches of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, Evangelical Methodist Church, Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren, Catholic community Chemin Neuf and Orthodox Church.

The Night of Open Churches will be open in Prague with an ecumenical service in St. Thomas Church in Lesser Town at 6 p.m. It will be presided by Cardinal Miloslav Vlk, sermon will be given by the chairperson of the Ecumenical Council of Churches, Mgr. Joel Ruml, the Synodal Senior of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren.
