The Public Transit Company of Prague is not directly in charge of toilets, responsibility is via three organizations that compete over the operation of public toilets. This proved useful as the firms try to keep the toilets running. In some cases, especially in old stations, you can see that it may be very difficult as investment into these facilities have never been big. Yet, the important thing is, that you will always find toilet paper there and you will be able to wash your hands. Toilets are not non-stop opening hours, not even during the whole length of the Metro operation. They close at 9 p.m. During the week they open at 6 a.m. and at the weekend at 8 a.m.
