Prague City Hall complied with the wish of the Office for Personal Data Protection, and you can now get and use Opencard as public transport pass, discount card or library card without giving your personal data.

Without the processing of personal data, the card is not transferable and it includes holder’s name and photograph printed on it. It is issued while you wait and it is subject to the same fee of 250 CZK as with the card with personal data.
The only restriction is that you can’t download the Free Fare application on it (this is limited by the date of birth, which the user doesn’t state), the remaining tariffs can be downloaded without problem.
