The DAFilms.cz website, which offers many interesting films and documentaries, is the fruit of the creative cooperation between 7 key European documentary film festivals associated in the Doc Alliance. The aim of the project is to push the boundaries of documentary film, to promote its diversity and to promote quality original films.

The Chvaly Château (‘Chvalský zámek’) in Horní Počernice is offering you the opportunity to explore the magnificent world of Leonardo da Vinci! The interactive exhibition will introduce you to the inventions, art and scientific work by the Italian genius until the 22nd of November.

Visitors to the Ekocetrum Prales (meaning ‘rainforest’) in the Kbely district of Prague can admire an outdoor exhibition of selected photographs from this year’s Czech Nature Photo competition until the end of October. ‘Lesy hl. m. Prahy’ (Prague City Forests) became one of the partners of the competition this year and the pictures have already been exhibited in the Wild Garden Hostivař.

Prague City Gallery manages several dozen public sculptures. Some of them can be found in Charles Square (Karlovo náměstí) in the city centre.
Some of the most famous among them are the statue of the scientist, doctor, scholar and biologist Jan Evangelista Purkyně, the statue of the writer Eliška Krásnohorská and the statue of the writer Karolina Světlá.

The National Memorial on the Vítkov Hill hosts an exhibition ‘We want to be free, we will be free!’, which is dedicated to the establishment of the independent State of Latvia. The exhibition will be open in the Ceremonial Hall until the 4th of October.

All visitors to the zoo probably know the pavilions, enclosures and expositions. However, the zoological garden also offers the opportunity to walk local trails, leading to a time when the planet Earth was just being formed.
The Geostezka path leading from the ungulate enclosures to Gočár Houses in the upper part of the zoo winds around the rock massif so closely that it does not allow for the construction of pavilions and enclosures with animals. Here, visitors can focus on the paleontological trail called ‘Footprints in Time’.

The ‘No night so dark’ exhibition, which takes place in the Villa Winternitz until the 29th of November, will introduce you to the story of the First Republic architect Rudolf Wels’ family.
The story of the Wels family is a story that should not be forgotten. There is no better setting for the exhibition, as Rudolf Wels was a disciple of the famous architect Adolf Loose, who designed Villa Winternitz.

The Náprstek Museum will host a talk on shamanism with the journalist and photographer Stanislav Krupař on the 23rd of September. The lecture ‘The current state of shamanism in Tuva’ is a part of the accompanying programme of the current exhibition ‘At Home in Siberia’.

The National Gallery Prague hosts temporary graphic exhibitions in the Fair Trade Palace. One of them is an exhibition of a collection of drawings and prints by Karel Myslbek entitled ‘The Silent Drama of Human Poverty’, which takes place until the 8th of November.

The National Gallery has rich and wide-ranging collection of graphics and drawings from various periods and styles. However, artworks on paper cannot be exhibited for a long time, so drawings and graphics are regularly presented in short-term exhibitions.
The current exhibit in the Graphic Cabinet introduces the world of the gloomy but interesting Czech painter, Karel Myslbek.
