Lakha Khan is a living legend. He comes from a family of traditional musicians in the village of Raneri in northern India. He has been playing music for more than half a century. He draws inspiration from the Rajasthan region in India, where the European Roma culture originates. His repertoire is quite wide. It ranges from classic to Sufi music to musical epics.
Khan performs with his son, who accompanies him on the Indian double-ended dholak drum.
