Náprstek Museum is the only museum in the Czech Republic exclusively dedicated to the material and spiritual legacy of non-European civilizations. It was founded by Vojta Náprstek, a Czech patriot, politician, philanthropist, and an enthusiastic promoter of new ideas, who fought for progress.

The museum is located in a set of buildings in the former brewery and wine cellar ‘U Halánků’ in Bethlehem Square (‘Betlémské náměstí’). You will see two permanent exhibitions here - one dedicated to Australia and Oceania, the other to the founder of the museum.

Food, music and dance

Delicacies that will be prepared during the event will surely please lovers of exotic cuisine. You will be able to taste food from a Japanese confectionery, the Japanese restaurant Miyabi, the Mexican restaurant Fosil and many more places.

Apart from food, you will also have the opportunity to listen to traditional music from various cultures, and watch traditional dancing and martial arts performances.

Workshops for children

Children will also enjoy themselves, as there will be creative art workshops where they will make Hawaiian bracelets from shells and flowers. There will also be an opportunity to purchase pretty and colourful souvenirs from Latin America.
