On the 30th of September, before the main programme starts, DJ Dasha Rush, the Berlin producer and experimental sound artist, will present her project ‘Aurora Cerebralis’. The project, which Dasha Rush developed together with the digital artist Alex Guevara, will be presented in an impressive 360° performance in Prague Planetarium, one of the largest planetariums in the world.

On the 1st of October, the Center for Architecture and Metropolitan Planning of the City of Prague (CAMP) will host the event ‘Lunchmeat x CAMP: Virtual Ecosystems’, in which Escher Fucker, a group of FAMU (Filmand TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts) students, will present the audio-visual live show ‘Citrinitas’.

Trade Fair Palace hosts the main programme

The main festival programme will take place from Thursday, the 3rd of October to Saturday, the 5th of October, on two stages in the Trade Fair Palace basement. Festival goers can look forward to the Italian composer Caterina Barbieri with her ‘Time-blind’, an AV live set, which was created in cooperation with the visual artist Ruben Spini. German musician Nastika, together with the Berlin visual artist The Nent, will present the world premiere of their new AV show “Endless”.

Two of the most prominent artists of the last Berlin Atonal festival are also coming to Prague.

Scandinavian club scene

Prague music lovers will get to know the Scandinavian club scene thanks to Varg, master of dark and instinctive techno sets, who runs his dark techno label Northern Electronics. In addition to his solo show, he will also perform with the producer and songwriter Anna Melina as FLORA live.

LSDXOXO, a representative of the New York underground known for its open approach to sexuality, is also coming to the Czech capital from the US.

Czech artists will also perform great shows

There will be a significant Czech presence at the festival. The world premiere of an AV show by two representatives of the Czech scene will certainly please the audience - Vinyl Aid Kid’s music will be enriched by Pavel Karafiát’s visuals in a live performance, which skilfully mixes mathematical techniques of generative design, field recordings and simulations of natural processes.
