Prague Ice Cream Festival was founded in 2015 and has since grown to such an extent that it is now the largest festival of its kind in Central Europe. This year, the Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice will turn into an ice cream paradise. For the festival’s fifth anniversary, dozens of confectioners will compete to create original flavours and unique serving styles.

Hundreds of icy delights

There will be more flavours than you could possibly imagine! It is nearly unbelievable how many ice cream flavours and types there are in the world. Cones and cups, gelato and sorbet, vegan and bio, water- and milk-based, scoops and rolls, sundaes and cocktails ... there’s something for every ice-cream lover. The imagination knows no bounds. So, at the Exhibition Grounds, you can try some original flavours such as salted caramel, chestnut, alcohol, green tea, chilli, poppy, grapefruit, sea buckthorn, marzipan, aniseed, avocado, bacon, basil, goat cheese ... You can have any flavour you can possibly think of!

Would you like a blooming rose or a rainbow unicorn?

Even aesthetics-lovers will be pleased, with ice creams shaped like a rainbow unicorn or a blooming rose. In short, anything is possible. And because the Prague Ice Cream Festival is an event for the whole family, lots of fun and competitions will be part of the event. There will be dance performances, drumming and a magic show. According to the organisers, kids can look forward to a children's corner with painting and a bouncy castle. Apart from ice-cream, you can enjoy fresh fruit, coffee and good food. And for those who want to take part, whoever votes for the Most Popular Ice Cream Maker will be entered into a raffle, with lots of prizes to be won. Prague Ice Cream Festival is a must-see. The organisers guarantee that you will not find better ice-cream and a wider selection anywhere else!

Health benefits

Not only is ice cream a wonderful, refreshing treat on hot days, it is also recommended in case of inflammation of the throat and mouth, loss of appetite and difficulty in swallowing. The milk in ice cream is a source of calcium and protein. With today's plentiful variety of fruit ice-cream, perhaps you can even gain some vitamins by eating ice-cream.
