People have been enjoying wine since antiquity and it is currently one of the most popular alcoholic beverages. Although it contains alcohol, its regular use can have beneficial health effects according to some studies.

Traditional wine tasting atmosphere

At these traditional wine tasting events, you can find out for yourself if that is the case. The main idea behind these tastings is that wine lovers always have a great bottle at hand. The aim is also to offer excellent food that pairs nicely with wine, and to leave visitors with an experience that will be complemented by the atmosphere of lovely town squares, unique castles and musical accompaniment.

‘Vinný košt’ is a traditional type of Czech and Moravian wine tasting event that is special because fewer winemakers present their wine. Visitors therefore have the opportunity to taste almost everyone’s product. The important part is that the winemakers are at hand, talking to their guests and creating the perfect, traditional wine tasting atmosphere.

How to recognise quality wine?

The label reveals a lot about the quality of the wine. In general, the vaguer the information on the label, the lower is quality the wine. Conversely, if the information is exhaustingly detailed, it usually means that adequate attention has been given to the wine.
