”We all lit candles, all of our family, so we also contributed to the creation of the heart,“ said Barbora Vavřínová, who came to see the heart while it was being made. The authors of the sculpture are Lukáš Gavlovský and Roman Švejda and they called it Heart for Václav Havel. They worked on it in an independent gallery in Prague and in Trafačka Art Centre, helped by several dozens volunteers. Hundreds of people attended the unveiling ceremony. It should stay beside the New Scene until the beginning of April, then it will probably move elsewhere, most likely to a different town.
