New website
The authors of the multimedia project janpalach.cz have prepared a representative selection of photographic, audio and audiovisual materials on Jan Palach. The project is aimed mainly towards the young generation who only know about Palach’s deed and his time from media.
The website also features links to Jan Zajíc and Evžen Plocek, both of whom also committed suicide by self-immolation, and others who followed them abroad. The website also contains a record of Jaroslav Seifert’s speech, which the poet addressed to students four days after Palach’s death.
