The roof frame was renovated at a cost of one million Czech crowns and was shown to the public during the Open Doors Day for the first time. The event met with such a big interest that people had to wait and some of them didn’t fit in the room where the lecture on roof frames and the Tower was held.
According to historians, the roof frame is one of the oldest in Prague. The first one is in the Slivenec local church, the other one is to be seen in the disused St Anne Church at the Old Town. The roof frame is precious due to its technological features, for example the utilisation of wooden pegs for joints is interesting.
