London is the dirtiest and the most expensive city in Europe, whereas our capital city has the best prices and Brussels is the most boring city. This is the outcome of the above mentioned survey of an Internet portal, to which 1400 tourists contributed.
The tourists voted the British metropolis the dirtiest city in Europe just before Paris. On the contrary, the cleanest city is Zurich before Copenhagen and Stockholm.
The questioned tourists also awarded London the title of the most expensive city, with Rome in second place. On the other hand, Prague was voted the cheapest, followed by Budapest and Lisbon.
London, however, also ranked in more flattering categories. According to the questionnaire, it has the nicest parks and the best night life.
An unenviable rating was attributed to Brussels as the most boring city of the old continent. Zurich, Oslo, Warsaw and Zagreb got to share second place in the same category. The most romantic cities are unsurprisingly Paris followed by Venice and Rome. The best place to eat is Paris, which is also the best city for shopping. However, Paris has also the most unpleasant inhabitants. The most accommodating inhabitants according to the survey are Dubliners, the most attractive people are the inhabitants of Rome.
