The benches were exhibited during the award ceremony in front of Prague City Hall in Mariánské Square but they will be seen in Prague woods. The winning one will be placed in Prokopské Valley.
Three months of painting
Children from Prague, who by painting benches joined the Clean and Green Prague project, painted 160 benches in three months. These benches can be found in Ďáblický Háj, Divoká Šárka, Hvězda, Milíčovský Les, Prokopské Údolí, Xaverovský Háj and Kunratický Les. They are usually placed near picnic areas, which have also been created as part of the project.
A rubbish truck comes next
Each of the three winning teams could choose one extra reward. The winners chose feeding animals at the ZOO corner of Prague Forest Administration. The second team decided to paint a rubbish truck provided by Prague Services. The third team chose a boat trip in Prague organized by the First General Boat Company, located beside Charles Bridge.
However, there are not only 160 benches in the project. The total number of the benches is one thousand and they cost two million crowns. All of them are located in Prague woods.
