More Frequent Weekend Night Trams and Buses from September
The City Council approved the reinforcement of the night operation of trams and buses at weekends, starting on 1st September and continuing at least until the end of this year.

10th Anniversary of Prague Ferry Boats
The first ferry boat P1 began its operation on 1st July 2005 between Sedlec and Zámky. One year later, another ferry crossing P2 was established between Podbaba and Podhoří and has become the most frequently used ferry in Prague. Other ferry boat crossings followed elsewhere in Prague.

Train Connection Between Prague and Opava
From 14th June, there is a new direct Czech Railways InterCity train between Prague and Opava. Another innovation is that there will be a children’s cinema on the train from Prague to Ostrava and Žilina.

Strahov Tunnel Night Closures
Strahov Tunnel will be closed at night on several occasions in June due to maintenance works. The closures will always take place from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Who Wants a Ride on Historical Bus?
Throughout the year, Prague Public Transit Company celebrates the 140th anniversary of its operation. One of the big events, which is approaching, is the big bus parade through Prague, which takes place on 7th June.

Changes in New Metro
The crowds of passengers occupying Dejvická metro will disappear. 1st June signifies the end of the so called zoning. This means that all trains will run to Petřiny during weekdays.
