Prague city has been further encouraging cycle transport. As of 1st April, all trams travelling from the city center will transport bikes also during morning hours and peek time before the noon hours. Restrictions apply only between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The extended service will help cyclists who prefer using their bike only when returning from work, for example due to hilly locations, or to recreational cyclists, who like using paths on the outskirts of Prague.

Currently bikes may be transported by metro, suburban trains and ferries without restriction. Apart from that, special cycle trains set off at the beginning of spring, see: http://www.praha.eu/jnp/en/transport/getting_around/cycle_buses_and_cycle_trains_set_off.html.
