The closures are due to repair works on the track which will be connected to the extended metro A line. The railway switch in the metro Náměstí Míru station will also undergo repair and trains will therefore operate just on one track in the section between Můstek and Náměstí Míru. Metro trains will be replaced by trams and there will be some changes in buses lines.
Replacement trams
- The route Divoká Šárka–Dejvická–Vítězné náměstí–Hradčanská–Malostranská –Staroměstská–Národní třída (metro B)–Václavské náměstí (metro A Můstek)–Náměstí Republiky (metro B)–Malostranská–Hradčanská–Vítězné náměstí–Dejvická–Divoká Šárka will be covered by the tram line X-A, operating every 5 minutes during the day and 5–10 minutes in the evening.
- The route Vypich–Hradčanská–Malostranská–Náměstí Republiky (metro B)–Václavské náměstí (metro A Můstek)–Národní třída (metro B)–Staroměstská–Malostranská–Hradčanská–Vypichwill be covered by the line 25 which will operate every 10 minutes.
- Metro line B and C will be connected with the Dejvice and Střešovice area by regular tram lines 1, 8, 18 and 20.
Changes in regular tram lines
The line n. 8 in the Stary Hloubětín direction is rerouted from Vítězné náměstí to Podbaba, where it terminates.
The line n. 25 in the Vypich direction is rerouted from Hradčanská via stops Malostranská, Náměstí Republiky, Václavské náměstí, Národní třída, Staroměstská a Malostranská to Hradčanská stops, where it turns back and goes to Vypich, the line n. 36 does not operate.
Changes in bus lines:
The lines n. 107, 119 and 147 are from Dejvická stop extended to Hradčanská, where they terminate.
