The changes are based on an evaluation of the operation and the requirements voiced by both passenger and city districts. At the same time, the public transport returns to its full operation. Unlike the past two years, the operation in January is not limited (except routes. 107, 143 and 176, serving mostly university students, whose exam period is starting now).

More low-floor buses

What is more, the number of guaranteed low-floor buses has been significantly increased on the Prague Public Transit Company’s buses.

Overview of the most important changes on individual routes

113   Kačerov boarding stop moves to the 114 stop (closer to the metro entrance).

125  The first boarding stop Skalka (at the bus loop) closed down in order to make more room for bus parking spaces (the second stop Skalka in Na Padesátém Street is still in place).

135  Weekend articulated buses are put in operation (it used to be the standard buses).

193  Introduction of reinforced Sunday evening buses between Chodov – Volha (the general interval with bus no. 177 was shortened from 15-20 to 7.5-10 minutes).

205  Poliklinika Budějovická boarding stop was set up in the direction of Zelený pruh.

294  Truhlářská stop in the direction of Florenc was closed down and Náměstí Republiky stop was set up to make traffic more smooth.

330  Cancellation of the bus route (Květnice, Na Ladech – Sídliště Skalka) as it was not used.

552  Cancellation of the afternoon connection from Vratislavova stop. The morning bus is still in operation.
