The depot will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For this occasion, the Prague Public Transit Company has prepared a special bus route, which will take the visitors on a ride across the whole area of depot. The Central Garages are accessible by the regular tram line no. 7.

Say good-bye to T3 trams

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the garages, which are used for daily regress and vehicle maintenance. Individual workshops will also exhibit selected metro carriages, trams and buses, both those that people can meet in regular operation and those that ensure repairs and maintenance of roads and tracks for a smooth operation. An exceptional part of the programme will be a farewell to the classical T3 trams.

“The event will also cater for admirers of firebrigade technology and modern technology, since it will be one of the rare occasions when they will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the operation of information systems currently used in Prague public transport,“ said the spokesperson for Prague Public Transit Company, Ilona Vysoudilová. As part of the programme, there will be presentation of the Secondary School of Transport and several other partners cooperating with Prague Public Transit Company.

Saxana

Prague Public Transit Company has also prepared accompanying events for children including several competitions for interesting prizes. They will exclusively have the chance to get an autograph by the protagonists of the film Saxana. Entertainment and music will be provided by a DJ from Express radio.
