Unfortunately, despite the negative stand of ROPID, long-distance and unsubsidized trains have priority over regional trains. This means that the route S7 Beroun – Úvaly will be divided in such a way that it will not be possible to travel directly between the eastern and the southwestern part of Prague. This affects trains from Úvaly and Radotín and also integrated fast trains from Kralupy nad Vltavou. Other restrictions are expected from March 2nd, when another phase of the modernization of the railway corridor begins on the route Praha-Běchovice – Úvaly.

Changes on individual train routes:

S1:  Inserted trains will operate on working day peak-times every thirty minutes to make up for the shortened S7 route. One morning express train from Nymburk via Poříčany will be diverted to Prague Main Railway Station.

S7:  Trains from Úvaly in the direction from Prague-Radotín or Řevnice will terminate at Prague Main Railway Station. Trains to Úvaly will be diverted to Masaryk Railway Station and will be labelled S1. One set of trains in the morning peak-time and one in the evening peak-time from Beroun will be shortened to Prague-Smíchov.

R4:   Most fast trains from Děčín will be diverted to Prague-Masaryk Railway Station. These trains will not serve Prague-Holešovice. Passengers can use Prague-Podbaba instead, a station where trains have been stopping at since December 2014.

New PIT timetables are available in the form of timetables for individual stop at: http://portalpid.idos.cz under the heading “railway“. Czech railways have also prepared an information campaign on the trains and at railway stations and stops, announcing the long-term changes in the time tables.
