On bank holiday, Praguers can take a ride on the Vltava boat named after the Czech fairy-tale character Rákosníček that operates from the ferry P6. This ferry is convenient when travelling between Modřany and Lahovičky. The small boat operating from P5 Pulec ferry, which has been used for travelling between Výtoň, Císařská louka and Kotevní, will be terminated on 28th October.

Changes will also affect the ferry P2. This is the busiest ferry that is, during summer months, serviced by two ferrymen on the boats Ropucha and Skokan. As of 28th October, passengers can use just one of them, and the boats will not operate as often. So, what ferry-boats will be operating in winter?

P1: Sedlec–Zámky and P2: V Podbaba–Podhoří.These ferries are integrated in Prague Integrated Transport and passengers can use Opencard or a valid public transport ticket that can shown on the boat to the ferryman. Bikes and pushchairs are transported free of charge.
