The tram arrived to Prague Hostivař from Plzeň on a special flatbed trailer. After recuperation it set out to Vokovice depot, its starting point. The photo shows the tram with no. 16 that is when the technicians tested information system options.
“The hundredth tram made a journey of hundred kilometres in order to check for potential malfunction. We needed to make sure it is ready for passenger transport. Permission from the Rail Authority has been granted as a consequence,” stated Aneta Řeháková from PPTC.
There are three more 15T For City trams in Vokovice depot awaiting its service initiation. Their reg. numbers are 9001, 9002 and 9003. After the completion of track reconstructions between Průběžná and Hostivař planned for the end of summer holiday these trams will be running in the city too.
